Anti-Tip Bracket

An anti-tip device is a metal bracket that is designed to prevent a product—especially one that is top-heavy—from tipping over. It attaches to the product and secures it against the wall. An anti-tip bracket is included with all gas, dual fuel, and electric ranges, as well as most built-in and counter-depth refrigerators. It is a safety device and must be attached when the appliance is installed. The installation instructions for the appliance provide directions for installing the anti-tip.
