Meet the Designer: Isabel Ladd
Maximalist Designer Isabel Ladd started her kitchen glow-up after reflecting on how she could make her home more of a reflection of herself. Though her then-white kitchen was beautiful, she needed more. Said Ladd, “I realized what would bring me lots of joy would be to have a colorful kitchen.” After choosing Marigold as her main color du jour, she added our Emerald Green Capsule Collection range, and the rest seemed to just fall into place.
Meet Isabel Ladd
A self-proclaimed maximalist designer, Isabel Ladd believes more is more; less is a bore. She layers gorgeous patterns and colors to create rooms with depth and character. Ladd believes home design should be a reflection of the owner, and once she finds key pieces to begin her project, she takes your eyes on a journey around each room, dancing through vivid colors, bold patterns, and layers of texture that bring joy and excitement to everyone who enters.
Born in Brazil, Ladd and her family moved to Lexington, Kentucky to raise horses. She attended fashion school and then found her talents worked well in the Los Angeles fashion scene. She transitioned her love of fashion and textiles into a passion for interior design and now has her own company, Isabel Ladd Interiors, based in Kentucky.
